Characteristics

With the BOXER aluminium planter, gardens have a chic, classic appearance. The planter resists rusting. It is not waterproof by default. Aluminum is incredibly light. You may use the aluminium planter for many years because it can be left outside all year long without getting damaged, even in below-freezing weather.

The aluminium planter undergoes a number of finishing processes after construction. To improve the powder coating's adherence, the metal is roughened. This powder coating can be applied with a strong adhesive primer and comes in a number of colours. A hard topcoat is used to complete the planter. By doing this, the BOXER aluminium planter is guaranteed to be scratch-resistant.

• Includes a 5-year warranty.
• Planters made of corten steel are incredibly strong, resilient, waterproof, low-maintenance, and long-lasting.
• The corten steel is 4 mm thick on average.
• Deliveries are made with no rust. Depending on the weather, the corten steel rusting process takes roughly 4-5 months.
• Owatrol can be used to remove the rust. This rust inhibitor penetrates the surface and creates a shielding anti-rust covering. Owatrol shields the planter and prevents the corten steel's rust from flaking off.
• Important points of interest
• As soon as products arrive, they should be opened up to let out any retained moisture. The item may form uneven rust patches if it is kept in its package.
• Provide enough drainage.
• Use no overflow pipes; the corten steel planter shouldn't contain any standing water. As a result of the interaction of oxygen and soil, this may cause the metal to corrode.
• Hydro pellets should not be used as they retain moisture.
• Within two kilometres of a coastline, we do not advise utilising corten steel.
• Rust run-off could result from weathering.

GARDENING ADVICE:

• Add a 10 cm (about 35 mm) thick layer of gravel to the planter's bottom.
• On the gravel, spread a permeable anti-root membrane.
• Put soil that is appropriate for your chosen plants on top of the barrier.
